I'm sooo feeling homesick rite now!!
I really miss my family at home especially when today is Mother's Day...:( I miss my mum a lot!
It's been 3 years since I left Sabah to work in Labuan. A brave step for me to work far away frm home...however, I'm proud that I did the right decision..to leave my home, family, friends and esp Fred at that moment...and it's all because of my MUM! She was the only person who supported me 150% when I asked for her advice to apply for a job in Labuan...unlike dad & Fred who did not really agree for me to work to far frm home...just because I'm a female...so many excuses given from them...
But once mum gave me her full encouragement...I decided to apply...and with God's willing...I got the job!!! Unbelieveable!! Mum must have prayed for me a lot...:) She knows that I'm the kind of person who will never get satisfied with my life unless I get what I want...and that is to have a good career..and have a better life...what's the use of studying hard and yet can't get a proper job!
When I look back at what I have today...I am so grateful with what God had given to me..I have a great job..I'm married with my lover of 10 yrs..and soon to be a mum!! Going thru the pregnancy process has teached me how a mother's struggle during pregnancy...which is not easy! and how I learn to cherish my mum a lot nowadays...esp when I am not near her...life is short...so learn to appreciate our mums more...
So to all Mums out there...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY...and may God bless you always...Amen.
